Jason Tham

Graduate Instructor, PhD Candidate

Jason Tham is completing his PhD in rhetoric and scientific and technical communication at the University of Minnesota through its Department of Writing Studies. Jason studies how writers and communicators use various technology to accomplish communicative goals, and is interested in a multimodal approach to learning, composing, and communicating. 

Jason has designed research for measuring impact of the Agile Writing model on 1) student achievement and 2) on attitudes toward team-based learning in writing classes. He has also designed instructional materials for Agile Writing classrooms, including team-based learning materials for non-native speakers of English.
