Your four-week Project 1 Portfolio is a way for your instructor, academic program administrators, and potential employers to see evidence of your technical and professional writing skills, knowledge, and achievement.
The Project 1 Portfolio will demonstrate your ability to contribute to a useful, well-organized, concise collection of professional writing samples. It provides opportunities for advances in your professional writing and collaboration:
Professional writing in three different genres—
- an extended technical definition
- a technical description of a wearable technology such as Apple Watch, FitBit, Samsung VR or other device
- a letter of transmittal
Collaboration using agile writing methods for managing complex projects.
In other words, you will gain experience in managing a complex project with the support of teammates, instructor, and wider academic and professional community.
Some vision statements are shorter; some are longer--they all try to capture the specific features, unique advantages, and target learning objectives of the experience you’ve designed for the project.
